The day of reckoning! The Zotrim box is here and the soon to be slimmer me is dying to get started. I ordered 1 month’s supply from the Zotrim website at a cost of £21.99, and they arrived within a couple of days. I have waited until today to start the plan to allow me to scoff the rest of my (and my daughter’s) Easter eggs!

Okay, so I have decided to report this scientifically with no cheating. My bare naked weight this morning was 9 stone 13. This is the same as 139 pounds or 63.2 kg, depending on your preferred units of weight measurement. I know that does not seem like a lot for some people, but I am very petite, so I am really rounded with no edges at the moment. My ideal weight is 9 stone and my first milestone is 9.5 stone, so let’s see how long that takes.

I am not going to bore you with a food diary or anything, but I will say that I am planning on eating normally and not turning into a super-food health freak. For me the whole point of this experiment is that it should be easy, with no extra hassle or effort involved.

If Zotrim works, then my understanding is that my appetite should be reduced, so hopefully I will eventually just be eating less of the same things. There is however a daily recommended water intake which I will try my best to stick to.

I will report back weekly, even though I usually weigh myself daily (I know that daily weight fluctuations are not supposed to be very meaningful, but I can’t help it. My daily date with the bathroom scales every morning is a hard habit to break).
