My favourite health, fitness and beauty website has to be VictoriaHealth.com. I yearn for so many cosmetics and body products from there and am slowly but surely working my way through a rather long wishlist. It is a UK based site but it has lots of US products and in fact loads of other great finds from all over the globe.

The company do not sell wholesale makeup, nor is it full of the same famous brand names that are so common on most other cosmetics related sites. I am not knocking the likes of HQ Hair and Look Fantastic, but those type of beauty sites are becoming more and more copied and are full of the same products. In contrast, Victoria Health is a treasure trove of new or not widely known, innovative, and often ground breaking, health aids, supplements, beauty and makeup products, balms and tonics, lotions and potions, and generally all round nurturing stuff for the mind, body and soul.

The site has recently had a design revamp bringing it bang up to date – previously it was a lot more fuddy duddy looking and could have been easily dismissed as a boring online health supplement store. Even so, when you arrive at the home page there are a lot of items that will not be familiar or that most people will not have heard of, so it is worth checking out the newsletter to start with.

The lady who runs the site, Gill, describes the products with so much passion and conviction that when you read it you will understand why I want everything. Gill, by the way, I originally thought was a thirty something girl about town until I learned that she is nearly 70. She has lots of insider Hollywood celebrity beauty secrets and her lust for life is catching. I definitely want some of what she is having!

Please, do yourself a favour and just check it out. There’s absolutely nothing in it for me. I just want to spread the word.
