Summer Beauty Packing For Holiday

Packing for your summer holiday is usually a stressful experience, almost always done at 1.00am the night before in a state of pre-holiday celebratory alcoholic stupor.

Really organised people buy clear containers and travel bottles into which they decant their regular lotions and potions. Lazy (and rich) people buy the travel sized versions of their normal beauty products. Here is a quick checklist of holiday beauty must haves:

1. High factor sunscreen for face and another one for body.
2. Aftersun lotion.
3. A combined lip and eye block.
4. Burn soothing cream such as calamine lotion.
5. Frequent wash shampoo and a nourishing conditioner.
6. Makeup remover.
7. First Aid box, including cold/flu sachets, painkillers, and antihistamine cream and tablets for soothing insect bites.
8. Insect repellent. Mosquito bites are so not a good look.
9. Cool sunglasses and hat.
10. Makeup bag with lipstick, eyeshadow, mascara and blush/bronzer.
11. Facial cleanser and moisturiser.
12. Cotton buds and cotton wool pads.
13. Hair styling products.
14. Emery board, nail polish for touch ups, and tweezers.
