If you are visiting somewhere tropical this comes with its own set of hazards. The heat and humidity is going to make you very hot, greasy, and sweaty with lots of smelly thrown in. Imagine how gorgeous you will be.

Do yourself a favour in the jungle and give your skin a break from the usual lotions and potions. It is unlikely you will need a moisturiser at all, but a gentle toner is essential as it will help clear your pores and also keep you feeling clean and fresh. Keep hydrated from the inside out, by drinking plenty of bottled water.

Makeup is best avoided. If you have an eyelash tint and groomed eyebrows before you go away, you will look amazing anyway. There is something tragic about using makeup remover in an equatorial rain forest. It’s just not cricket.

Stinky feet can be counteracted by sprinkling a little talc in your shoes, which also reduces nasty whiffs at the end of the day. Remember to bring bug repellant, as well as antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream in case of emergencies.

It goes without saying that you should check vaccination requirements before you travel, and get yourself immunised against any local dangerous diseases in plenty of time.

You probably will not have much need for wholesale makeup on your jungle trip, but if you do then Cheap Slap can cater for all your needs.
