It’s started snowing here again (sigh) so I am all set in case tomorrow is a snow day. I live in an area where the main roads are usually fine, but my house is up a steep hill and getting the car down the hill is the problem. So any sign of skiddy danger and I am happy to walk instead. How smug am I with my new short Hunter boots so recently brought by dear old Santa – I never imagined I would get so much use out of them already!

I am all stocked up with provisions so I won’t have to carry much back from the shops on foot. Walking my daughter to school will require an early start, as it’s quite a way and she is only 5, but I guess if it is snowy no-one will mind if we are late. Then it’s pilates followed by hot chocolate and pancakes at the Grumpy Cafe near me.

That should get me psyched up to start the clear out of old wholesale makeup stock that I usually have every few months. Makeup does have a shelf life and goes out of date (with the exception of some mineral makeup). Some stuff you just have to chuck – old dried up mascara, anyone? Yuk.

Don’t risk selling old out of date cosmetics products on eBay. Your customers will complain or maybe just won’t return, and you will harm your reputation and feedback ratings. If you knowingly sell something that is past its expiry date it is unethical, never mind the fact that you could endanger someone’s health and face serious consequences. Ignorance is not an excuse – you need to be knowledgeable about your wholesale cosmetics supplies and only use reputable beauty product suppliers.

The high end makeup suppliers you will find on Cheap Slap are some of the best in the business, they have a good reputation, are totally contactable, and sell authentic beauty and cosmetic products. Don’t risk buying out of date stock, or worse, fakes, from the dodgy sellers on sites like Alibaba, Tradekey. DHGate, TradeTang etc. It just ain’t worth it.
