If you are just starting out online, here are a few quick ways to earn a little extra cash from home. These are totally easy, no skills required, tips that are free to do. Each source may only contribute a little extra income to your household, but taken together, and over time, these can add up to a tidy sum.
Since I joined these websites a couple of years ago I have put the money aside from these income streams for a special purchase. Last year these paid for a weekend in Paris for my birthday…this year they paid for my new baby’s Bugaboo pram!
UK Survey Sites
A couple of UK survey sites I use are YouGov and Pinecone Research.
YouGov pays 50p to £1 per survey and you usually get about 3-4 surveys to complete a month. The surveys are interesting and but more importantly, they only take a few minutes. They also have monthly prize draws with prizes up to £1,000. Read my blog post for more info on YouGov.
Pinecone Research are widely recognised as the best UK survey site as they pay up to £3 per survey. But they are hard to join as they do not advertise, and only accept new members occasionally. So get in quick if the doors are still open. Read my blog post about how to join Pinecone Research.
Get paid to search online with Swagbucks
I totally love Swagbucks!! Swagbucks is a search engine that you use in just the same way as Google. They give random Swagbucks (like points) to searchers that you can cash in for products or vouchers. They also give out free points on Facebook. The best way to cash in your points is for Paypal vouchers which can be paid directly into your Paypal account, or Amazon vouchers which you can use to buy just about anything. You can easily win enough Swagbucks for a £5 Amazon voucher every week.
Cash Back sites
I am a big fan of TopCashBack as I find them very reliable and have earned over £400 cash back with them in a couple of years. The way it works is that you get cash back on your purchases if you click through to the merchant from the TopCashBack site. It is free to join and you get £2.50 just for signing up. There is no minimum payout so you can get paid at any time. Read my blog post for more details about TopCashBack.
