This post has nothing to do with wholesale makeup at all, but I had a fab hypnotherapy experience this week which I wanted to quickly share.

I have a phobia which has started to cause me big problems in my everyday life. Like any phobia, it is totally irrational but the fear for me is very real. Recently it has bordered on the obsessional (moi?) and I decided I would try anything to try and conquer it, because so far no amount of either reading about solutions, or telling myself to wise up, have helped at all.

So off I toodled to a natural health care centre where a very sensible looking, suited and booted, ex-lawyer got me under his spell. I have to say there was a moment when it could have gone either way – it was either burst out laughing or close my eyes when instructed, so I did the wise thing and got some £85 per hour shut eye.

That’s when he started doing a funny voice and although I was awake and knew what was going on, it was a bit like being in a lucid dream. Anyway, the outcome has been really positive so far. I felt great afterwards and have not been in a tizzy about my phobia at all. I am going back again next week for more and have high hopes I am on the way to being cured. Fingers crossed x
